I don't have question papers of other years.I am of 05-06 batch so i only have question paper of my entrance test.
No credits for graduation marks.Candidates with work ex. are given pref. in interview only.
hey the questions u posted for ad pr course ,,, is ther nothg related to the current affairs knowledge but u hav posted only relating to ads only wat about current affairs???? n total questions u posted r 5 but it comprises of choices too na...then in all how many questions r ther
*Questions on current affairs are asked in journalism courses'entrance test.
**Last year entrace test paper didn't have any "choices".
***Posted question paper is what was there.

Duration of Eaxm is 2 hours.Full marks 85,IIMC invites about 135
top aspirants for interview(Ad. & PR). As far as work ex. is concerned if you satisfy them why do you want to join advertising/PR,it will help you.But IIMC does not reveal the weightage system.

First of all you can't say that this blog is only for ad n pr.
For journalism entrance test you should have good knowledge of current affairs with strong views.Read CSR/Manorma year book.
I already have posted last year's question paper.I think it will help you to understand the pattern.

You should have knowledge of current trends & happenings in indian advertsing & PR industry.For this you can read magazines like Pitch,Impact,4Ps..
Work ex. is not very important.App. 75% students don't have work ex.

All NRI quota candidates get in because IIMC gives 85 out of 85 in written test so if one scores 5-6 (very easy) one gets selected

hey... amit, thnks so much for d reply.. but fromm what i have heard.. there r abt 5 seats in d nri quota.. so if more than 5 students apply to d course thru nri, den d chances of gettn thru become slightly bleak..
so, thats y i was gettn quite nervous and scraed for d interview.. i dont wanna take ne chances.. iimc is d institute dat i wanna get thru :)

They may consider it in a negative sense….you’ll have to give a strong rationale for you decision…..sorry dear for RTV course your work ex is not in your favour so better you appear as a fresher there…
Manorma Year book may help….but reading newspapers n watching news channels regularly will be more fruitful ….

HI Amit this is Aman,I managed to clear the written exam for EJ.... my question about the personalities didnt go well rather I could answer only four of them rest of the exam went ok!! I have even taken the interview, the panel asked me a question that what is the message behind Lok sabha elections?? I never got the question well.
